'The Egypt Experience: Secrets of the Tomb' Exhibition to open at the Toledo Museum of Art

Beginning on October 29, 2010, visitors to the Toledo Museum of Art can learn about the afterlife in ancient Egypt. Featuring more than 150 artifacts spanning 3,000 years, this exhibition is located in a specially designed gallery on the museum's lower level.

The Dead Sea Scrolls to be made available online.

The Israel Antiquities Authority (IAA) and Google have announced that they have teamed up in order to make the Dead Sea Scrolls available in an online archive. Images of the scrolls will be put in a comprehensible and searchable online database in an effort to make them more accessible to researchers as well as the general public. The approximately 30,000 fragments that make up the collection of manuscripts are to be digitised using state of the art imaging technology developed by MegaVision.

Press Conference on Medinet Madi: The Past, the Present and the Future
