The city, Leukapsis in ancient times, was a sprawling port in Graeco-Roman times and has been discovered 25 years ago, buried under modern Marina. Now, officials are opening up the tombs, villas and city streets to visitors as they can get an insight into the workings of the ancient town. The opening is expected to be complete by September 2010.
